Welcome to HUD Info Exchange!
This is a blog to provide information about how the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) works. The goal is to provide a resource for those working with HUD programs to improve their communities.
HUD has recently improved their formerly bewildering and byzantine website under the new domain name http://hudexchange.info. Even with the improvements, it can be challenging to search and find specific information, and it can take a long time to receive a response if you call or email HUD with questions. This is an open blog where I and others can provide information and respond to your questions. Hopefully it will build a small community with a knoweldge base that is helpful to anyone using HUD programs.
